What is a Logic Model?
A logic model is a visual and organized way to present your grant program’s resources/inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impact. This provides the connection between your planned work and intended goals, and it will help guide both the implementation and evaluation of your grant programs.
How to Create a Logic Model:
The four steps proposed in the Wilder Foundation Guide are as follows.
- Review and Clarify links between activities and outcomes
- Add inputs and outputs for each activity
- Construct a draft logic model
- Review and Revise
Review these steps in detail in the PDF, learn more in the following online course, and use the templates, or create your own, to produce your organization’s new logic model.
Online Course:
This online course from the University of Wisconsin provides comprehensive background information to provide you with the necessary tools to produce your own quality logic model.
